This Privacy Policy explains what Sent Fondly (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Sent Fondly, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account: your email address and password (passwords are stored securely, hashed, by our authentication provider).
• Profile: your name, mobile phone number, timezone, and your SMS/notification preferences.
• Your content: the people and occasions you add (names, relationships, dates, and any custom reminders).
• Device: if you enable notifications, a push-subscription token for your device.
• Usage: reminder history and, when you tap an affiliate link, a click record (the link, timestamp, a one-way hashed IP address, and browser user-agent).

How We Use It

We use your information solely to operate the Service: to send the reminders you asked for, deliver notifications and/or texts, suggest relevant gifts, and maintain your account. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Mobile Information & SMS

Your mobile phone number is used only to send the reminders you have opted into, and to process opt-out/help keywords (STOP, START, HELP).

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in/consent information with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with our messaging provider strictly to deliver the messages you requested.

Affiliate Link Tracking

When you tap an affiliate link in a reminder, we record the click (link, timestamp, hashed IP, user-agent) to understand which suggestions are useful and to report on partner performance. We do not pass your name, email, or phone number to affiliate partners beyond the standard click parameters that any outbound link carries.

Service Providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers strictly to run the Service — hosting and database (Supabase), application hosting (Vercel), and text-message delivery (our SMS provider). These providers process data only on our behalf and only to provide their service. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent and removes your profile, people, occasions, reminder history, device subscriptions, and click records.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

Sent Fondly is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You can update your profile, turn SMS or notifications on or off, and delete your account at any time in Settings. To opt out of texts, reply STOP to any message or turn off SMS reminders. For any privacy request, email support@sentfondly.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
